Ilona is a mother to two daughters, wife to one husband, Gordon, pack leader to a large number of dogs and cats, and writer of urban fantasy with violent women and monsters who love them. Contrary to popular belief, Gordon was never an intelligence officer with a license to kill, and Ilona was never the mysterious Russian spy who seduced him. They met in college, in English Composition 101, where Ilona got a better grade. (Gordon is still sore about that.) Ilona likes tea, reads widely, and tries to knit things, mostly to fail miserably.
